As we head into the colder months, KMR’s focus is once again on winter planting and how to support our many landowners and groups taking action across the Kaipara Moana catchment.

KMR continues to make excellent progress, thanks to everyone’s hard work.  At busy times, it’s important to give ourselves permission to pause, take a moment of reflection and enjoy things that re-energise us.  The KMR team and governors recently did that, heading out onto the whenua to see a KMR planting project near Maungatūroto.  The project was really inspiring and demonstrated just how quickly native plants can re-establish to protect waterways and eroding hillsides.
