Pūtohu – Rauora Kōawa / Catchment Remediation Advisor

This role engages with landowners, communities and groups to understand aspirations for the land and provide leadership to develop technical plans that unlock KMR project investment. Working collaboratively, you will provide guidance and support to community groups, landcare groups, marae, iwi and hapū, kaitiaki groups, schools, trusts administering land with multiple ownership or land with fish and game purposes, and reserve boards.

You will promote good land management practices to landowners and provide advice and assistance to reduce erosion risk from riparian margins and erodible hill country.  As part of a close-knit team, you will manage a variety of KMR grant applications.

There is flexibility for this role to be based out of our Whangarei or Dargaville office.
