KMR has an ambitious goal to halve sediment flows into the Kaipara Moana through a 10-year programme of action. A transformational approach is needed –  current management practices will only reduce sediment by 12-13%.

This financial year, KMR is aiming for 500,000 more native plants in the ground and another 250km of fencing.  This will require ongoing, concerted activity across the catchment  – please get in touch if you want to work with us!  Ki te kotahi te kākaho, ka whati; ki te kāpuia, e kore e whati – When we stand alone we are vulnerable but together we are unbreakable.
