Kōrero Tuku Iho whakatauira fund now open

Kōrero Tuku Iho  is seeking expressions of interests, from Kaipara Uri, iwi, hapū, marae, and whānau, to undertake Whakatauira. The purpose of each Whakatauira is to gather stories, memories, histories, values and generate a deeper understanding of Kaipara Uri, iwi, hapū, marae and whānau communities’ narratives about their natural world and the places of significance to them within the Kaipara Moana catchment.

Whakatauira will support KMR’s primary objective to reduce sediment entering the Kaipara Moana in order to protect and restore the mauri of the Moana.

Applications are open now until 1 April 2025.
