Kōrero Tuku Iho seeks to gather stories, memories, histories, values, and a deeper understanding of the whenua, awa and moana.

The project provides a pathway for Kaipara Uri, iwi, hapū, marae, and whānau to explore their stories, memories, histories, values, and understanding of the natural world and places of significance associated with the Kaipara Moana catchment as inspiration for the reduction of sedimentation. Through this process, Kōrero Tuku Iho will enable these communities to contribute to the regeneration and protection of the mauri of the Kaipara Moana.
