Piki mai, kake mai e ngā iwi, e ngā kaitiaki wai Māori!

Te Wai Māori Trust has opened its Wai Ora Fund for 2023, with $200,000 available to support iwi, hapū and whānau to fulfil aspirations for freshwater fisheries.

Up to $50,000 per project is available to support projects that:

• Promote and share indigenous fisheries’ expertise, knowledge and understanding
• Increase the quality and range of information on freshwater fisheries available to iwi and hapū
• Enhance the health and well-being of indigenous fisheries and their environment.
