Jonathan Rishworth, Chief Executive of Te Uri o Hau Settlement Trust and Justine Daw, Pou Tātaki, commemorated the signing of an agreement between Kaipara Moana Remediation and the Trust to work together to develop nursery-based employment opportunities in the rohe, including support for satellite nurseries, taonga species production, and a seed library and database.

Wider satellite nursery opportunities in the catchment will also be explored with other iwi partners Ngā Maunga Whakahī o Kaipara, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Whātua and Te Roroa.
